Scrap Attack

Stitched in Color is having a quilt along challenge which is to make or finish an already started quilt made mostly from scraps by the end of March 2012. I'm going to try and do this, I have so many unfinished quilts it's not even funny. And all but one are from scraps! Now just to pick which one...

My favorite quilt project I'm working on is my wedding ring quilt, I'd love to finish it but I'm not sure I would get it done in that short of time. I started this sometime after I got engaged and it has been a labor of love! My husband has even had his hand in it, when I'm working on it during movies he always volunteers to help cut pieces out. I can't wait to see it finished and on our bed! It will be treasured. :)

Probably my project nearest completion is this paper bag quilt in which you cut tons of 3" squares and put them in a paper bag and grab two out at a time and sew them together, no planning just crazy randomness! I got the idea from Anna at Pleasant View Schoolhouse. You can find her tutorial HERE.
So...which project to choose? The more challenging? Or the one that I might actually be able to get finished by then? We shall see....

  1. Oh, your quilts look lovely! That would be really fun to participate in, but the quilt my sister and I are making for our bed doesn't have very many scraps in it... oh, well.
