Lately

I've hardly had any energy this week and been feeling really blah. It may very well be because I ate gluten the other day which always leaves me feeling drained of energy and grumpy. It's no fun though....so not worth it. Why can't I remember that before I eat the stuff?
There is brightness to my week though, my lovely orchid (a birthday present from my husband) is still blooming and it makes me happy...
I used my A. C. Moore coupon and finally got a basket for my knitting that can sit by the couch and not be a big pile of mess...it's nice and sturdy too! It's so hard to find sturdy baskets these days.
I finished the whale hat! I'm going to give it to a friend. She doesn't read my blog (I think) so it's safe to show you.
I have been eating loads of pears, kiwi, and bananas. This combination is soo yummy.

And I've been working on some new spring-ish things for the shop.
Hopefully I will be back to normal soon. Stupid gluten. Stupid allergies. I want chocolate. Oh but wait...I'm allergic to that too. Sigh...okay I'm done venting.
I hope you're having a lovely week...how's it going?

Moving

My husband just accepted a job across the country in South Carolina so we are busily packing up what belongings we need and getting ready to fly out next week. Life has been crazy! But we are both excited about this new adventure and excited to be in a new place and learn to lean upon each other and God. I think it will be a really good growing experience for us.
While going through all our stuff I am getting rid of quite a bit of patterns which are available in my SHOP just this week until we leave. I'm not taking them with me so they wont be available after we move.
I most likely wont be posting until after we settle and I don't know how long it will be until we have internet again so it may be awhile before I am on here again.

The Story

Once upon a time there was a boy who dreamed of meeting the girl he would spend the rest of his life with...
And a girl who dreamed of meeting the boy she would share all her dreams and adventures with...

They both grew up in the same town.

The boy was very creative and good at math...
The girl was very creative and bad at math...
The boy went away to college...
The girl went and had some adventures in England...
Then one day...the boy and the girl realized what they'd been looking for had been right in front of them the whole time. The boy asked the girl to go to a college retreat and after spending more time together they realized they liked each other. Then the boy asked the girl out and she said yes. They got all dressed up and the boy took the girl to a fancy restaurant and to a dance.
The next day the boy surprised the girl by taking her to her favorite place....the coast.

The boy and the girl loved spending time together...they found they had a lot in common. They loved cooking together and dreaming about their future.
Then one day the boy asked the girl to marry him and she said yes...

And that is only the beginning...

Bradley & Andrea

Last weekend my friend Andrea got married. I've known her since she was 9 years old so it was really special to see her say "I do" to her best friend. :)
They got married in a beautiful park...
The groomsmen wore gerber daisies and flip flops...
Mr and Mrs..
I love this picture..even thought it turned out blurry. I love that smile :)

These two are so awesome. They're funny and talented but most of all they both have a heart for serving God. I can't wait to see how God uses them together for His glory.

A Busy Happy Summer

Words are never enough to capture all that happens in a month, here are some pictures to give you a glimpse into my busy life as a cabin leader at camp this summer...

And after all that mom and I found a few days we were able to sneak away and go see the sea...

And summer isn't even over yet...:)
